Organize and Manage Files
Create folders, rename, move, delete, and search files in Files Manager. Tips to keep storage tidy across many projects.

Once storage has a few dozen — or a few hundred — files, things get messy without structure. Files Manager gives you the basics to stay organized: folders, renaming, moving, deleting, searching. Sort things out early so finding files later is always quick.
Create a folder
Click New Folder in the toolbar. Give it a meaningful name — like "Games", "Client A", "Tested APKs" — and confirm. The new folder appears right where you are.
You can nest folders as deep as you like. Click a folder to enter it, and use the breadcrumb at the top to step back up.
Organizing by project or client usually works better than by file type. Client-A/APK/, Client-A/Images/ is easier to navigate than APK/Client-A/, Images/Client-A/.
Rename a file or folder
Right-click the file/folder → Rename.
A dialog opens with the current name. Edit and confirm. If the new name conflicts with an existing file in the same folder, the system blocks the rename so you can pick another.
You can also select the file → open the action menu → Rename to reach the same dialog.
Move files
Right-click → Move → pick the destination from the folder tree → confirm. You move files within the same storage area.
Tick multiple files (Ctrl/Cmd-click for individual selection, or use "Select All"). With multiple files selected, the action bar shows a Move button with the count. Click it, pick the destination, confirm once for the whole batch.
Delete files
- Right-click → Delete → confirm in the dialog.
- Or tick multiple files → hit Delete in the action bar → confirm.
The confirmation dialog tells you exactly how many files and folders you're about to delete. Read it carefully before confirming.
Deleted files and folders cannot be recovered. If you delete the wrong thing, you'll need to upload it again from scratch.
Search
When storage gets big, scrolling becomes painful. Use the search bar at the top:
- By name — type any part of the filename.
- By type — filter to files only, folders only, or all.
- By size range — enter "from X KB" and "to Y KB" to find files in a specific range (handy for cleaning big files).
Click Reset to clear filters and return to the full list.
Sort the list
You can sort the file list by:
- Created date — newest first, or the reverse.
- Modified date — by most recent action.
- Name — A-Z or Z-A.
- Size — small to large, or large to small.
Click a column header (in List view) to flip the sort order.
Pagination
When a folder has many files, the list is split across pages. Use the page controls at the bottom to navigate. Search filters apply across all pages — paging only affects display.
Preview files
Click a file to open the preview. Files Manager renders these directly:
- Images — JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and other common formats.
- Videos — play in-browser.
- PDFs — scroll through page by page.
- Text files — view the raw text.
For file types that can't be previewed (APKs, archives, executables), Files Manager shows a notice and offers a download link instead.
Download files
Click Download on a file (or inside the preview dialog) to save it to your computer. Download links are short-lived for security reasons — if you don't download right away, the system generates a fresh link when you click again.
You can't download an entire folder — only individual files. To grab many at once, download them one by one, or zip them before uploading.
Tips for a clean storage
- Name files clearly at upload time, with versions if relevant (
MyApp-v1.2.3.apk). - Don't keep everything in the root — make folders per project or client.
- Clean up periodically: delete old APKs, test images, and unused files.
- Use search instead of scrolling — it's much faster on a big storage.
- Drop one-off files into Temp Storage so you don't have to clean them later.
