Get notifications on Telegram
How to link your XCloudPhone account to Telegram for rental, top-up and offer notifications. The three linking states and how to fix a blocked popup.
3 min read
Beyond the notification bell inside the app, you can hook your XCloudPhone account up to Telegram and get notifications straight to your phone. This page walks through linking your account, the three states you'll pass through, and what to do when the Telegram tab refuses to open.

Where to find it
Open Profile and pick the Notifications tab in the sidebar. This tab manages your notification channels, described as "Connect channels for notifications and promotions".
Inside it you'll find the Telegram row. Once linked, that row carries a Linked badge. Click the row to open the Telegram Notifications dialog ("Link Telegram to receive notifications and offers"), where the whole linking flow happens.
The dialog's three states
1. Not linked
The dialog leads with Telegram not linked and this description:
Link your Telegram account to receive notifications about rentals, top-ups and offers.
Hit Link Telegram to start. While the link is being generated, the button reads Creating link....
2. Waiting for confirmation
Once the link is ready, the system opens a new Telegram tab pointing at the chat with the XCloudPhone bot. The dialog switches to Waiting for confirmation on Telegram:
Tap "Start" in the Telegram chat that just opened. This page will update automatically once linked.
All you have to do is switch to that Telegram tab and tap Start in the chat. The XCloudPhone page checks and updates itself, so there's no need to reload anything.
This state gives you two buttons:
| Button | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Check again | You already tapped Start but the page hasn't caught up |
| Reopen Telegram | The Telegram tab never opened, or you closed it by accident |
3. Linked
The dialog shows Telegram linked with the note "You will receive notifications via Telegram.", plus a Linked at line telling you when the link went through.
To disconnect, hit Unlink. You'll get a "Telegram unlinked" toast and the Telegram row drops back to its unlinked state. You can link again whenever you like.
Troubleshooting
Details
The Telegram tab never opened
This is almost always your browser blocking the popup. Browsers usually flag it with a small icon in the address bar. You can allow popups for XCloudPhone, or just take the easier route and hit Reopen Telegram inside the dialog.
You tapped Start but nothing changed
The page polls on its own, so a few seconds of patience usually does it. If it still hasn't updated, hit Check again to force an immediate check.
The wait dragged on and the link never completed
Each generated link is only valid for a limited window. If you left it sitting too long, close the dialog and hit Link Telegram again to mint a fresh one.
An error when creating or removing the link
Seeing "Could not create link. Please try again." or "Could not unlink. Please try again." usually points at a temporary network hiccup. Give it a moment and retry; if it keeps failing, contact support.
You don't have Telegram installed
Not a problem. The link opens fine in Telegram Web right in your browser, as long as you're signed in to your Telegram account there.
Telegram is an extra channel
Linking Telegram does not replace the Notification Center in the app. Every notification still lands in the header bell and the Notifications page whether or not you've linked Telegram, or after you unlink it. Telegram is purely an additional delivery channel so you stay in the loop without the dashboard open.
If you tend to leave devices running for days, linking Telegram earns its keep fast: you find out a rental is about to expire right on your phone, no dashboard check needed.
