Notifications & Support
Privacy & Terms
A plain-language summary of xCloudPhone's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use — data collected, your rights, mutual obligations, and how consent is recorded.
3 min read
This page is a quick summary of two important legal documents that govern your use of xCloudPhone. It does not replace the official versions — read the full documents before agreeing.
Where to find the official pages
The two documents live on separate pages for easy reference:
- Privacy Policy — access via the footer link or support page
- Terms of Use — access via the footer link or support page
Each page uses a LegalPageContent layout with a table of contents (TOC) visible in the left column on desktop — so you can jump straight to the section you need. On mobile the TOC is hidden; scroll down to read sequentially.
Both show a last-updated date at the bottom. When meaningful changes are made, you'll be notified via the Notification Center or email.
Summary
Data we collect
- Account info: email, username, profile details you provide.
- Login logs: timestamp, IP address, device/browser type — used for security alerts.
- Transaction logs: top-ups, payments, refunds — used for billing and reconciliation.
- Device usage logs: rental time, which device, connection events — used for operations and support.
How we use it
- Service operation: provisioning devices, billing, renewals.
- Security: detecting suspicious logins, preventing abuse.
- Customer support: looking up the right logs for your issue.
- Product improvement: aggregated statistics, never targeting individuals.
Third parties
xCloudPhone shares only the minimum necessary data with selected partners:
- Payment processors (Stripe and other payment gateways)
- Email delivery (transactional email service)
- Cloud infrastructure (storage, compute)
These partners are contractually required to keep your data confidential and use it only for the agreed purpose.
Your rights
Access the data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and related data.
Export your data in a readable format.
File complaints if you believe your privacy was violated.
To exercise these rights, send a request through Contact Support.
Your obligations
Follow the law: don't use the service for purposes that violate Vietnamese or international law.
No spam: no bulk unsolicited content, no mass-messaging schemes.
No security exploits: if you discover a vulnerability, report it rather than exploiting it.
No system interference: don't try to bypass quotas or attack the infrastructure.
Be truthful: account info and stated usage must be accurate.
xCloudPhone's obligations
- Provide the service at the agreed quality and uptime levels.
- Respond to support through the official channels.
- Protect your data in line with the Privacy Policy.
- Notify you of meaningful changes to terms, pricing, or the service.
Refund policy
xCloudPhone operates a no-refund policy. Once you top up your transaction wallet, the balance can only be used to rent or renew devices — it cannot be withdrawn or converted back to cash. Top up only what you plan to use.
Disputes are resolved in order: negotiation → internal complaint → competent authorities in Vietnam (if needed).
Changes to the terms
xCloudPhone may update the terms when necessary. Meaningful changes are announced in advance — you can accept them or stop using the service.
Consent to terms
When you create your first rental, the system asks you to confirm that you've read and agreed to:
- The Terms of Use
- The Privacy Policy
The system records a consent log — including timestamp, IP address, and document version — as evidence for both parties. You can request a copy of your consent record through support.
Print PDF copies of both official pages to keep as personal evidence. Open the page → Cmd/Ctrl + P → choose Save as PDF → store somewhere safe. Especially useful if you ever need to look up exactly which version you agreed to.
Consequences of violations
Violating the terms can result in:
- Temporary account suspension while the team investigates.
- Permanent account closure for serious or repeated violations.
- No refund of remaining balance if the violation caused harm or is found to be fraudulent.
- Reporting to authorities in case of legal violations.
Read the official terms carefully before using the service — a few minutes of reading saves a lot of trouble later.
