A session survives your disconnection because the device, the session, and the stream are three separate things — and only the stream lives on your side of the internet. The other two run in our datacenter and never depended on your phone.

    A real ARM Android board sits racked in our datacenter with its own power and network. It was never dependent on your phone, so your phone going off does not touch it.

    When you rent, the system sets a fixed end time at purchase and charges your wallet once. The session is governed by that clock alone — there is no idle-client check and no disconnect timeout that stops your device.

    The stream is the only part on your side

    WebRTC carries video and audio to your browser. Close the tab and only the stream stops — like hanging up a video call to a computer that is still switched on. The picture goes away; the machine does not.

    Reconnect to the same state

    Open the viewer again and you land back where you left off. What ends a session is reaching the end of the rental block you paid for, not losing your connection.

    Why an emulator can't do this

    An emulator dies when your PC sleeps because the emulator is your PC. A cloud phone has no such coupling — your machine is only ever a screen and a controller for hardware that lives somewhere else.

What 24/7 AFK Does NOT Give You

A cloud phone solves one problem very well — keeping a device and a session running without your hardware — and it is honest about the rest. Read this before you buy.

  • It does not play the game for you

    We do not provide automation of any kind — it is not part of the product, and we are not going to imply a launch date we do not have. A cloud phone keeps the device running; what actually runs is whatever the game itself offers, such as an official auto-battle button.

  • It does not run forever

    Your session runs 24/7 through the rental period you paid for and then stops. There is no grace period and no automatic renewal.

  • Your connection is a condition

    You can disconnect freely once a session is running, but starting and controlling a device still needs the internet. During an outage there is nothing to reconnect to until you are back online.

  • Latency is a handicap for twitch play

    Every input makes a round trip to the datacenter. For idle, turn-based, and most RPG play you will not notice; for competitive twitch games it is a real handicap no provider can engineer away.

  • The rental ends, and so does the device

    When a block expires the device is wiped between tenants. Anything you want to keep has to be backed up or tied to an account you can sign back into.

  • It does not make an account ban-proof

    Real hardware means games see a real device rather than emulator fingerprints, which removes one category of signal — but account safety depends on the game's rules and your own behaviour, and we cannot guarantee any outcome.

If your Wi-Fi drops, only the control stream to your screen pauses — the cloud phone and the game keep running on the datacenter network for the rental period you paid for. Reconnect and you pick up where you left off.

On your own phone you cannot — a powered-off device runs no code, and battery or background settings only help while the phone is still on. To keep something running while your phone is off, it has to run on a different device that stays on, which is what renting a cloud phone gives you.

On a normal phone, disabling battery optimisation for the app and granting unrestricted background use usually stops Android from closing it — while the phone is on. A cloud phone sidesteps the problem entirely: the app runs on a datacenter device that is not competing with anything else for power.
