How to add funds to your xCloudPhone wallet so you can rent and renew cloud phones.

3 min read

xCloudPhone runs on a prepaid wallet model: you add funds to your account first, and the system deducts from your balance whenever you rent or renew a cloud phone. This keeps costs predictable, avoids surprise charges, and lets you start renting immediately without re-entering payment details each time.

Two wallet types

Your account has two independent wallets depending on where you are:

  • VND wallet — for customers in Vietnam, topped up via local bank transfer.
  • USD wallet — for international customers, topped up via Visa/Mastercard through Stripe.

The two wallets are kept separate and are not auto-converted between each other. Pick the wallet that matches the payment method you want to use.

If you rent machines priced in VND, top up the VND wallet to avoid exchange-rate differences.

Wallet currency is locked at signup. Each account has one wallet — VND or USD — decided by your IP at the moment of registration, and you cannot switch it yourself from the dashboard. If the wallet you see here doesn't match the country you live in, you likely signed up over a VPN. See Wallet currency is locked by your signup IP to verify and learn how to request a fix.

Step-by-step

Sign in and open the Transaction Wallet — Go to app.xcloudphone.com/dashboard/deposit-history.

Click "Top Up" — The button is in the top-right corner.

Pick an amount — Choose a suggested denomination or enter a custom amount.

Choose a payment method — VietQR bank transfer or Stripe (see Payment Methods for details).

Complete the payment — The system creates a deposit ticket valid for 30 minutes. Scan the QR code or enter your Stripe card details within that window.

Wait for confirmation — The system checks for your payment every 15 seconds. When funds arrive, the balance updates immediately and you are redirected to a confirmation page.

After paying, you are redirected to /payment-successful to confirm the transaction and see your new balance.

Tracking your balance

Your current balance is shown in the dashboard header on every admin page and updates in real time whenever you:

  • Top up successfully.
  • Rent or renew a cloud phone.
  • Apply a gift code.
  • Receive a refund (if applicable).

You do not need to refresh the page — the balance syncs automatically.

When will the money arrive?

  • VietQR bank transfer: usually within 1–3 minutes after a successful transfer.
  • Stripe / Visa: near-instant once the charge is approved.
  • If after 15 minutes you still don't see the funds, check your transfer note before contacting support.

Important warnings

When transferring via bank, enter the exact transfer note that the system shows (typically a code like DEP-XXXXXX). A wrong note means the system cannot auto-match your payment, and you will need to contact support for a manual reconciliation.

Each deposit ticket is valid for 30 minutes. After it expires, the QR code and transfer note no longer work — you must create a new ticket.

Never transfer to a personal bank account that is not shown on the official top-up page. xCloudPhone only accepts payments through the channels listed in the system.
