How to sign in to xCloudPhone: new users go through Google, while existing password accounts still use username and password. Plus fixes for common errors.

3 min read

The log-in page is your gateway to xCloudPhone. There are two ways in, but they're for two different groups: new accounts sign in with Google, while the username and password form is for accounts that already have a password.

The login page with the username/email field, the password field, the Sign in button and the Google button below

If you don't have an account yet, use Sign in with Google. There's no email-and-password registration form anymore, so there's no username or password for you to type into the form on the left. The line under the log-in form says it too: "New here? Sign up with Google above." See Sign up for an account.

How to sign in

For every new user, and for anyone who created their account with Google.

Click Sign in with Google on the log-in page.

Pick the Google account you want to use.

Grant xCloudPhone access if it's your first time. You're redirected to the dashboard automatically.

On your very first sign-in you'll be asked to complete your profile before you reach the dashboard.

Only works if your account has a password, meaning it was created before email registration was closed.

Open the Log in page.

Enter your username (or email) and password.

Tick "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy".

Click Log in. If your credentials are correct, you'll land on the dashboard.

Google accounts have no password, so this route won't work for them.

Not sure which kind of account you have? Open Profile → Security. If you don't see a "Change password" entry, yours is a Google account and it has no password.

Possible follow-up steps

After you authenticate, your account status decides where you land next:

  • Incomplete profile → The profile completion page. Fill in Personal Information (First name, Last name, Username, Country, and Phone if you want) and you're done. This applies to Google accounts and to older accounts still missing details. See Complete profile.
  • Two-factor auth (2FA) enabled → A 6-digit code page for your Authenticator app. You have 5 minutes to enter it. Only happens on password accounts, see Two-factor authentication.
  • Email not verified → The email verification page, where you enter the OTP or click the link in your inbox. Google accounts skip this because Google already verified the address, see Email verification.

Forgot password?

On the log-in page, click "Forgot password?" under the password field. You'll be guided through resetting it by email. See Reset password.

This only applies to accounts that have a password. Google accounts have no password to reset: if you're locked out, recover your Google account itself, then click Sign in with Google as usual.

Common issues

Wrong username or password

Check Caps Lock and any leading or trailing spaces. If your account was created with Google, it has no password at all, so use Sign in with Google instead.

Terms not accepted

You can't log in without agreeing to the Terms & Privacy Policy. Make sure the checkbox is ticked.

The Google window doesn't open

Your browser is blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for the xCloudPhone domain and try again.

Account locked

Contact support if you've entered the wrong password too many times.

Your session can expire after a long period of inactivity. When that happens you'll be logged out automatically and need to sign in again to continue.
